The 875 Watt power supply and efficiently designed interior makes heavy upgrades (like 2 GPUs) easy. Alienware computers are like expensive cars, you don't need it but they don't cut corners in production. If you're not always up-to-date on PC info it might save you headaches down the road.

  If you're in the market for that truely high end gaming PC keep in mind the Alienware Aurora. Today a high end configuration with dual GeForce GTX 660 graphics cards and 16GB RAM dropped from $1,924 to $1,719 with free shipping at Dell. The dual graphics cards should blow away a single higher end GeFroce GTX 680. Of course there are graphics upgrades available, including the ability to go dual GeForce GTX 680.

  If you're big into Alienware products Dell Home has a ten dollar discount on an Alienware TactX gaming keyboard. Plenty of macro keys and you can customize the color of the backlighting. Includes a "game mode" switch that turns off the troublesome Windows key.
