Looking at a fun co-op on the Xbox 360 or PS3? EA's Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel is down to $15 at Best Buy. It's also the "Overkill Edition" which includes a few extra in-game weapons, outfits, and missions. Your choice of $2 ship to home or free store pickup.
Only two weeks after its release and Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel dropped $17 today at Groupon. Elsewhere you'll pay $58 and up. Reviews are mixed, you either love it or hate it. From what I gather it's a good co-op shooter with loads of customization, though maybe lacking game-play originality.
When you release your game the same day as BioShock Infinite you're going to miss a lot of media attention. I feel that's part of the story behind Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel - a great game if you're into co-op missions but a similar story line and gameplay as the previous Army of Two game. Reviews are okay to slightly positive but how are you going to get great reviews from the critics when at the same time they're reviewing the 2013 game of the year frontrunner? Yesterday Origin dropped the price to $28 with free shipping - a new low by $30. Elsewhere $35+.
Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel on the PS3 dropped to just over $30 at Amazon. About $12 off its previous low of $43. A tactical co-op game that released the same day as BioShock Infinite... probably the worst day it possibly could have released in 2013 with all the video game press focusing on BioShock.
