This Asus VS247H-P LED monitor seems to be popular with gamers judging from the positive reviews at Amazon. Must be the 2ms response time, HDMI connectivity, full-1080p resolution, and 50,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Well, that last one is manufacturer-dependent and essentially meaningless...BUT. Every single reviewer says (with the possible exception of regular text display) that this monitor is a fantastic gaming monitor. It comes with a 3-year panel/system warranty straight from Asus for peace of mind.

      Bright, thin, high contrast monitor from Asus is now only $120 at NewEgg after coupon. This is the lowest price we've seen on this model by $30 after tracking it for more than a year.

      Idea: more filters in your list of monitors for type lcd, led, ips and/or "best suited for" i.e. gaming, graphics work, spreadsheets/business, etc. would come in handy as I need some for my office (non fun boring spreadsheet type office) ;) thnx

      Michael, great tip on filter for narrowing down monitor usage type. we'll definitely work on that and get some sort of system going ASAP so its easier to find the monitor thats best for your usage scenario

      Nice price on this Asus VS-247H-P LED monitor - a solid $22 less than the current next best price thanks to our $30 coupon good through Wednesday. Almost all Amazon reviewers say this makes an excellent gaming monitor. It's got a 2ms response time and 50mil:1 contrast ratio. (50mil:1 is essentially meaningless, but apparently the image DOES look pretty nice.)
