        New low on the 13.3-inch Dell Inspiron 13z with Ivy Bridge Core i5 CPU and 8GB RAM. At $550 it's lowest ever by $79. A thin design with the same processor as you'll find in more expensive Ultrabooks.

        Available again, Dell extended the coupon on the Insiprion 13z. As a fan of ultraportables, this is a a pretty decent lightweight laptop from Dell and one of the cheaper 3rd Gen ULV Core i5 we've seen around. Matches previous lowest price back in mid-August.

        Inspiron 13z with coupon is now at lowest ever price for the 3rd Gen Core i5 ULV config. Dell's coupon takes $210 off the listed price, plus you get free ship along with 6GB of RAM. No SSD in this machine so its not quite Ultrabook status, but the 3.9 lbs is a definite portable candidate.

        It took awhile but Dell's consumer lineup is finally coming equipped with the 3rd Gen Ivy Bridge ULV. Newly refreshed and reintroduced Inspiron 13 (now with z designation) is only 0.82-inch and under 4 lbs. Thankfully they didn't randomly throw the Ultrabook tag on this ultraportable. Core i5 13z version is only $700 at limited-time new release discount price.

      It's hard to believe you can get a 13.3-inch laptop starting at only $399. Dell's Inspiron 13 comes with Windows 7, up to an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB of RAM, up to 320 GB hard drive, a 13.3-inch 1280x800 resolution display, built-in 2.0 megapixel webcam, CD/DVD recorder, up to WiFi 802.11n, optional bluetooth, 10/100 ethernet, 2 USB 2.0 ports, VGA out, audio i/o, and 8-in-1 media card reader in a 4.9 pound package.

      If all you need is basic computing and don't plan on playing the most advanced video games, then it will have you covered.
