          Tons of cheapest ever laptops at Microsoft Store (and hey, their site is working right now, too!) This XPS 14's cheapest we've seen by $200, and five months ago the best deal was for $1,300. 1080p display, Core i5 Ivy Bridge, and more.

                    I'm looking to buy an Ultrabook this month and right now I'm at two candidates. One is this 14-inch Dell XPS 14 with Ivy Bridge Core i5 with 500GB HDD + 32GB mSATA SSD. A bit heavier than your average Ultrabook but also of solid construction covered in gorilla glass. The same laptop goes for $999 on Dell's website and up until this week was $1,100.
