The seventh installment to the popular hack and slash video game, Dynasty Warriors 7 extends past Wuzhang Plains to the Jin Kingdom, giving it a total of four major factions. There are a few notable improvements to this new game. Character and weapon customization and switching can now be done during battle. A new mode called Conquest features a character story coop mode and can be played online or offline. Support animals have been added to aid players in their missions.

Released in April 2011, the game is based on the Luo Guanzhong's novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Developed by Omega Force and published by Koei, Dynasty Warriors 7 with Xtreme Legends will be released in March 2012 for PC.
