The large HP 2711x is one of the cheaper Full HD 1080p LED monitors today, mainly because it was released in 2010. But feature-wise, the HP 2711x is still on par with the ones released today. It’s in Amazon’s Top 20 in monitor best sellers list. This LED-backlit model has an ultra-thin profile, HDMI input, and a wide viewing angle. The set produces brilliant color and sharp images, and is ideal for browsing the Internet, working on graphics, watching videos online, and maintaining wide spreadsheets. Energy Star 5.0 qualified, EPEAT Silver guaranteed, and well-received by advanced PC users, the HP 2711x offers great bang for your buck.

Very nice price on the HP 2711x 27-inch LED monitor - in fact, it's the lowest we've seen by over $60. If you're used to the glossy screen of a MacBook Pro or Air, this would be a decent monitor to look at it as it employs HP's BrightView glossy screen tech. The only downside is you're going to have a larger pixel pitch at 1080p with a 27-inch diagonal - but hey, you can always move the monitor a couple feet back on your desk, right? Heh. Next best is nearly a hundred more.

Great price for a 27-inch LED monitor from HP. Usually around $310 to $340, you can now snag it for $270 which is very decent for a large panel (bigger instant savings this week + stacks with coupon). Full 1920 x 1080, 5ms response time, very decent contrast ratio, brightness could be a bit higher (250 nits), all inputs you'll expect: VGA, DVI, and HDMI ports.

A solid $30 price drop on this 27-inch HP LED monitor for memorial weekend. 1920 x 1080 full HD and 5ms response time. The dot-pixel pitch is a bit high at 0.3114mm compare to say... the high end Dell UltraSharp 27-inch at 0.233mm. Of course, the UltraSharp is about $825 vs this HP ;)
