Today's price on this well-reviewed Insignia 39-inch LED TV ties the cheapest we've seen. After over 1,500 reviewers, 96% would recommend this set to a friend. Just add a Roku or recent Blu-ray player for Smart TV capability.

Insignia is one of those "get-cha by" brands. No super fancy Wifi Smart technology on this 39-incher, but if you've already got a Roku or modern gaming system do you really need all those other gizmos found on $1,000+ sets? At $270 this model is at its lowest price ever by $30.

Looking for a cheap, moderately sized HDTV with good reviews? This Best Buy brand set is recommended by a remarkable 97% of reviewers. It doesn't have Internet connectivity built in, but that's easy to add with a streaming stick or other device, and it's even MHL enabled if you want to stream from an enabled phone or tablet. No next best price since it's a store brand, but for what you get, $300 is incredibly reasonable.
