Insignia 55-inch 1080p 120Hz LED TV for only $600 at Best Buy. That's a new low on this model by $180 and frankly as little as you'll find a brand new TV this size. Your choice of free store pickup or free delivery from the store to your home (available in most US locations).
If you're looking for the largest TV at the lowest possible price, check this 55-inch Insignia set out. It's LED lit with a 120Hz refresh rate so you won't be throwing picture out the window. After 187 reviews, 89% would recommend to a friend. It's not a Smart TV, but if you drop $50 more on a Roku or cheap modern Blu-ray player, that won't matter - you can stream Netflix just fine that way for far less than you'll pay for the same size TV with the integrated capability.
If you are into gaming avoid this TV the lag is horrible. Check out the forums on Insignia's website there is plenty of information on the issue and Insignia's inability to resolve the problem
Thanks for the note. I wish input lag were a standard metric normalized and reported by all TV / monitor manufacturers. You'd think it would be advantageous for them to put, especially for high end sets marketed to gamers in particular...
