Lego Star Wars III features missions and characters from the Clone Wars tv series. You can use up to two characters in single player or multiplayer coop, and switch between characters to fight enemies and solve puzzles. Players can now command a large army of clones to fight droid armies. Characters can throw their lightsaber and slice objects with it. You can pick up droids to use as weapons, step on pads to perform combos, board ships and tanks to fight bigger droids, and go on foot to slice minions. There are more things to break and things to collect, and it is easier to get achievements and unlock items. Spoiler Alert: The Gold Bricks you earn can be put together to build a very nice gold stealth ship. Graphics are more detailed and the lighting was greatly improved to enhance the "space" feeling. The soundtrack, audio effects, and the goofy cut scene were taken directly from the tv series.

Considered the best of the Lego Star Wars series, this game received 76 out 100 stars. Gamers complain that the game is now more difficult and the combat is repetitious. Fans beware this game becomes a hack n slash and gamers might not feel part of the story after all.
