Are there any reviews on this laptop at all?
Lowest price on the Y400 will be the SAME PRICE on Cyber Monday. We've confirmed through Lenovo's coupon schedule, so no real need to wait for BF or CM if you're hoping for more discount --- conversely the $849 Y500 will drop to $799 so if you want the 15-inch gaming laptop vs the 14-inch Y400, you'd probably want to wait.
anybody know if the 650m is ddr3 or gddr5?
Sorry for late reply, the Y400 has a GDDR5 with the GT 650M.
Great price on the brand new Y400 gaming laptop. It's now $120 cheaper than release date thanks to a new pre-Black Friday coupon. For those familiar with Lenovo laptops, in terms of the Y400 vs the Y480, I'd personally go with the Y400 given its swappable optical drive (for 2nd GPU) and other little neat features such as backlit keyboard. The shipping time thankfully is now only 10 days compare to the previous 4 weeks time frame.
