Long one of the more "bareboned" ThinkPad series, the L530 is the successor to the previous ThinkPad L520 (based on the Sandy Bridge) and the L512 (based on older Core 2 Duo chips). The new ThinkPad L530 will be sporting the new Ivy bridge chips along with other perks such as mini-Display port, USB 3.0, and excellent battery life (claim life of up to 9.5 hours by Lenovo). Currently slotted with standard 1366 x 768 display. It will be released along with its little brother, the 14-inch L430. Prices for the L530 should be $800 to $1100 depending on the config.
