I just bought the 47LS5700, dang it! Do you think all LG tv's are dropping in price to prepare for the next models or should I return it and go for this 3d deal?
How much did you pay for the 47LS5700? I think the 47LM6700 as it is right now is a pretty good deal.. but I'll be honest I'd rather save $100 vs spending more money for 3D content that I don't like. But again, if you can cancel/return without a penalty, maybe you should grab what you really wanted instead.
I had paid $850 for the 47LS5700 so I just decided to upgrade/return it and technically save $50! Thanks you guys for finding the great deal!!!

Not many reviews yet on this particular model, but given it's essentially the successor to LG's wildly successful LW5600 / LW6500 lines, it's probably a good value close to list and a great value after this drop. Smart TV, Magic Remote, etc...the usual features, but an added bonus -- you can now have _full screen_ 2-person gaming with the passive 3D functionality. No more screen-watching excuses...

Presumably the 4/5 in the 'features' category was given because this isn't a Smart TV, but if you add a Roku or cheap Internet-ready Blu-ray player for $50 or so, you'll still come out paying hundreds less than you would for a similar Smart TV. Next best is $170 more.
