Very inexpensive IPS monitor from LG - currently $21 less than the next best price. In our experience, it's rare to see any IPS panel monitor come in at or under $200 - I can count the number of models typically achieving this criteria on one hand. Reviews are mostly quite positive, with all the negative reviews I read at Best Buy falling into either user error or unrealistic expectations. This isn't a high-end IPS panel, but it's still an IPS.

If you're into editing photos, web design, or any area where a neutral, accurate color representation is critical, you probably want an IPS screen. Typically you'll pay over $200, but today you can get your hands on an LG IPS235V 23-inch LED monitor for only $190 - the lowest price we've seen. This isn't the highest end IPS panel you can find (you can end up spending a grand on that), but it's far superior to a typical TN panel for its good viewing angles and greater coverage of the color gamut.
