Brand new Logitech K750 solar wireless keyboard just came out in March 2011 and it's very impressive.
When we hear "solar-powered" we assume it's from sunlight, but the K750 solar keyboard can be powered even from absorbing light from a common desk lamp. And Logitech claims the K750 keyboard will run for 3 months in total darkness from a single full charge, so no worries about losing power during late-night gaming or coding sessions.
Also nice, it communicates with the tiny USB Logitech unifying receiver, so if you have other Logitech peripherals that work like that, you only need that one USB plug-in.
Logitech is known for very comfortable keyboards. This K750 looks island-style and the specs say it has Logitech-only concave keys designed for comfort and faster typing speed with less noise.

No wires, no batteries just a keyboard... from the future. Logitech is running a dented box special right now on their K750 solar keyboard which ties the lowest price we've seen. And no you don't actually need to be in the sun to use this, any light source will do. Next best price is $50 at Amazon.
Since I haven't been out of the house for about 62 hours, a solar keyboard wouldn't do me much good. But if you're not a basement dweller like us, this very popular K750 keyboard is on a giant discount right now (its a refurbish model but Uncle Bob says thats okay since all the kinks are worked out now).
The Logitech K750 is $49.99 at Amazon. That's $10 cheaper than it's usual price ($60). This solar powered keyboard attends to my biggest issue with most wireless keyboards --they always seem to run out of batteries at the worst possible time. It also has an app that lets you see battery power and ambient light strength so you'll never be surprised by a dead keyboard again.

Best price is $65 at Amazon and Newegg but if you buy it from Amazon by this Saturday, May 21, you qualify for their $15 mail-in rebate too. Net price of $50 for a cutting-edge Logitech keyboard...I'm tempted to buy it myself.
