After the successful predecessor comes NHL 12 with all the newest features in an ice hockey video game.  Develpoed by EA Canada for EA Sports, NHL 12 will be released in September 2011, featuring Steven Stamkos as the cover athlete.  This new games now allows players to hit goalies and fight with them on the crease for a more powerful offensive play.  Goalies will also be able to fight each other.  Career mode called "Be a Pro" allows players to play through 18 levels in CHL and be drafted in the NHL.  Developers also improved player physics.  Yo can now see shattered glasses, knuckleball shots, helmets flying, and players can go out-of-balance due to a hit.  NHL also takes the game to a Winter environment featuring Heinz Field.  The Be a GM mode is now managed by a more logical trading system.
