The venerable Nikon D7000 with 18-140mm lens, bag, and 32GB memory card is down to $800 via Best Buy today. All you need to get started - a tested and proven APS-C sensor camera, versatile lens, and ways to store your pictures and camera. We've never seen the D7000 _just_ with lens this cheap before.

Best price we've seen for the D7000 body as well as $79 off the current next best price. Good mid-range DSLR that compares well to newer models.

The popular favorite Nikon D7000 prosumer DSLR body reaches an all-time low today at Rakuten. This approaches entry-level DSLR pricing for body only, but gives you weather sealing, better performance at higher ISO, and a slew of expandability options and features not typically seen on a camera of this price.

Very nice deal on the D7000 DSLR body. This price from Adorama via eBay makes a new low, as well as $39 off the next best price. Solidly reviewed prosumer / enthusiast's DSLR, and at this price point, near the best picture quality you can get.

This Nikon D7000 is the cheapest we've seen for the body only, and it's also $84 off the current next best price. My friend owns this camera and loves it - he uses it to shoot weddings and outfits it with all sorts of lenses and accessories. And he paid something like $1,000 for it pre-owned (with a lens maybe?) a couple years ago. This is a versatile camera with plenty of room for expansion and exploration.
