Check out this 39-inch 1080p LED TV for a 32-inch 720p LCD-esque price. This refurbished Seiki's at the lowest price we've ever seen, plus you save $45 at NewEgg compared to the current next best price.
We got to use this TV for about 40 days before it broke. Now the screen flickers off & on every 3 seconds on all inputs.
Since it's been more than 30 days, we cannot get a refund or replacement from Newegg. The only option left for us is to get a box & ship this TV to the the manufacturer for repair which will cost more than we spent on the unit to begin with.
It's pretty upsetting that Newegg sold the defective TV, and that's the best they can do. Wish we didn't get this 39" paperweight & saved ourselves the money & all the hassle.
Last time we actually talked about this TV set, it cost over $100 more. Today you can pick it up for only $228 in refurbished condition - the lowest price we've ever seen, and $21 off the current next best price. If you remember, Black Friday 2011 had a 40-inch Sharp LED TV for $200 as Best Buy doorbuster for which people camped out overnight. This is only $28 more, and it's easily the cheapest set in this size class you'll see today.
Lowest price we've seen on the Seiki SE391TS by $28 and $80 off the current next best price. Fairly common to see a 39 or 40-inch HDTV for $300 with fluorescent backlighting, but less common to see an LED back-lit screen for this price.
