This straightforward, relatively inexpensive home theater system gets good reviews on Google Products. Since they made their debut in 2010, you can often get them for far less than their list of $500+. And let's be honest...this year's model isn't going to have rockets on them or something super-unique. Speakers for the most part are speakers, year after year, with only minimal changes in performance and build. So if you're picking these up now, you're probably getting a good deal.

      Yesterday we realized the Sony SA-VS310 surround speakers had an unadvertised mail-in rebate that still applied with a new coupon. Today TigerDirect increased the instant discount, making this 5.1 speaker set only $70 (+ $29 shipping). Next best is more than twice this. If you need a cheap surround sound solution, check this out, pick up a sub-$200 receiver and watch something with explosions.

      Yeah, just checked and confirmed. Sorry about the false hope - TigerDirect is fickle and not always consistent in their expirations. (We run into deals all the time that are advertised as having coupons, but then TD won't have a box to input the coupon during checkout, for example.)

      Once in a while we come across deals that seem almost too good to be true. This Sony SA-VS310 surround sound speaker system has a $60 mail-in rebate AND $50 coupon you can apply to it, bringing the final cost to $120. These discounts were never advertised together, so TigerDirect may disable the coupon when they realize... Next best price is nearly twice as much. All 4 and 5 star reviews on Google Products.
