I'm listening to this receiver right now (technically the previous year's model, but same space in the product line), and it's been going strong for a year now, ten hours a day. I paid around $50 more for mine than you'll have to pay at Amazon today. If you want to optimize your sound per dollar in an inexpensive home theater (or stereo) setup, this is one you should consider.

I own this receiver, and I drive it for 10 hours a day with poor ventilation (another component directly on top of it). It's a champ. If you need an entry-level receiver with good quality sound, this is the one.

I've personally owned this receiver for about a year now. It's on for at least 10 hours a day, every weekday, and performs without a stutter. It has a solid list of features, but you're putting most of your money into sound on this model, which is what most people'd want at this price point. Good Burr-Brown DACs and a next best price $50 more expensive.
