      Everyone's favorite 2013 release Aliens: Colonial Marines drops to two bucks today at GameStop. With a lot of the launch bugs fixed, it might be worth a bite at this price point. Ties the all time low last seen in December during those crazy PC gaming Winter Sale deals.

      This game is so bad Amazon is paying you to take it off their hands. Heh. The PC download of Aliens: Colonial Marines is only two bucks today at Amazon AND they'll give you a $5 credit on or within 48 hours of January 3, 2014 to use towards "Editor's Choice Games of 2013".

      This page is titled as "Aliens: Colonial Marines Game, Season Pass, DLC" but the link through goes to GameStop where only the base game is listed as $5 (The same as Steam and elsewhere right now). Am I right, or is there something at GameStop that I'm not seeing (IE, inclusion of ALL A:CM content from the game to the DLC etc)?

      Hey Matt, sorry for the confusing page setup. The title is listed so because other deals appear on this page (see sidebar for the expired Season Pass del). The one at GameStop for $5 is just the Stem key of the base game only. No season pass or DLC included. If you miss this deal, it'll be cheaper again soon I'm sure.

      Colonial Marines is only five bucks at GameStop for the PC. Despite the mad hate it received on the launch date earlier this year, the many patches fixed a lot of the bugs. Maybe worth a shot when its this cheap.

      The Aliens: Colonial Marines PC download got pretty cheap today at Amazon. The price dropped to $5.99 for the base game and the Season Pass. Kinda flopped on release, but I'm curious if the numerous patches fixed the major AI bugs.

    Like the 80s hit series of Aliens movies? Well, you might like Aliens: Colonial Marines. It's set about four months after the events from the second film.

    Weapons, plot, and characters are mostly from the movie series, with a few new xenomorph types. The game provides both traditional FPS elements of "Gauntlet Runs" and "Last Stands", which are essentially what they sound like they'd be, as well as fairly traditional multiplayer modes.

    At the time of release, most critical reviews are negative, in large part thanks to bugs and bad AI (fixable with patches on the PC versions?) The few positive reviews praised plot and customization.
