There isn't a ridiculous-sized body of reviews for this JVC JLC42BC3000 yet, but the few reviewers who ARE sharing their opinions in the ether seem very pleased with their purchase
. One review compares the picture quality favorably to that of a Samsung, and another says it exceeded all of his expectations. It doesn't come with a lot of connectivity options outside of the standards; for instance, this TV doesn't do streaming via wireless. However, it WILL play video off a USB flash drive, and if you've got a recent model Blu-ray player, you've probably got streaming content capability already. It'll adjust picture to fit the lighting, and it's got a Gaming mode that'll bypass picture processing to reduce lag.
All in all, plenty of stores sell this TV online, but no one's said anything but good things about this TV so far. No dead pixels, no faulty power supplies, and so on. The one "bad" thing about the functionality this TV DOES include is the stand doesn't swivel. I feel like that's something I could overcome with a good support network.
